Film Festivals
‘In This Moment’ explores themes of first love, communication and consequences, a story that will resonate with audiences and one they can relate to. Our '80s setting gives us wider reach, embracing a more personal world which most of our parents grew up in. This film is our graduation project, our calling card. It shows our skills and passion for the medium of film and storytelling. We want to take this film as far as it can go and show this beautiful story to as many people as possible.
Previous Wins and Nominations
Bristol Independent Film Festival is a festival friendly to more short film content and independent films as well. In 2023, our director, Andrew, and one of our producers, Ben,
won in the Best Student Film category for their medieval short film, 'When This You See'. We would like to go back to a festival we have had previous success at with what we believe to be a stronger, more emotional film.
Brighton Rocks Film Festival is particularly accepting short/student made films for submissions to participate in winning awards, the event also hosts a range of different awards to be won in a variety of categories for cinematography, directing, and editing. Our production designer, James, had his last film 'Atonia' screened at Brighton Rocks Film Festival in 2023.
Making Waves is a growing film festival in Portsmouth, the base of a large majority of the crew as students of Portsmouth University. We want to boost the profile of the city as a growing hub for the film industry. In 2024, multiple crew members won awards at the festival, namely our director and producer, Andrew and Ben, for their medieval film 'When This You See' and our editor, Ben, for his comedy film, 'Daylight'.
